Everything you wanted to know about EVE[geek] but where afraid to ask about
Why EVE[geek]?
Because I'm a geek who enjoys Eve. And because EVE[geek] looks like an array and I'm a geek
who likes arrays. I also enjoy recursive functions but don't tell anyone. If you're lazy like me
just call it evegeek.
Who's behind EVE[geek]?
It's just me, Mr M.
Wow! Did you figure out all this stuff by your self?
Well... quite a lot. I try to tell the source whenever I borrow info. Like the stacking formula
that Jim Hsu figured out, or the ore location info that I blatantly borrowed from ToxicFire.
I got way too much money, can I donate some?
Nope, I'm old school. Information wants to be free. Ehm...
No really, I don't pay for the
bandwidth and I found the server in a dumpster. So give the money to someone who really needs
it instead.
Why don't you have X?
Probably because I've never needed it myself. All the info and calculators are things that I needed
myself.
Why don't you team up with EVE Offline, EVEnews or some other community site?
They're all great sites but don't work very well in the ingame browser. The reason why I started
EVE[geek] was that the ore calculator at EVE-I dind't work ingame.
Can I have a copy of the X script for my site?
Some day when I'm bored enough I'm gonna make them downloadable.
How many Amarr does it take to replace a lighting unit?
Two. One to replace it, the other to pretend he's God and order the first around.
